      I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change

A musical celebration of the mating game. The 2nd-longest running Off-Broadway musical of all time.

Told in a series of vignettes and songs, this hilarious revue, updated in 2018, tackles modern love in all its forms – from the perils and pitfalls of the first date, to marriage, children, and the twilight years of life. This show is for everyone who has loved and lost, fallen on their face at the portal of romance, or dared to ask, “Hey, what are you doing Saturday night?”

Performance Dates: January 21 – February 8th (possible holdover to Feb. 15th, 2026)

Rehearsals: Early October through January on two weekday evenings (sometimes Monday and Wednesday, sometimes Tuesday and Thursday) – 6:30 to 9:30 and Saturdays – 1 to 4 p.m.

Audition Dates and Times:

Auditioners should arrive 10 minutes before the start time and be prepared to stay until the end.

Friday, August 15 – 7 to 10 p.m.
Saturday, August 16 – 1 to 4 p.m.
Call backs will be held Sunday, August 17 – 1 to 4 p.m. (by invitation only)

Audition Location: Langham Court Theatre located at 805 Langham Court. Please enter through the lounge door located on the north side of the building. Auditions will be on the stage.

You will be required to do a cold reading from the script, chosen by the director. 

Please bring a 32 bar cut of a song selection of your choosing or 32 bars from one of the solo selections from the show (below).

CHARACTER REQUIREMENTS

All roles are open to all regardless of race and ethnicity.

Some movement and dance ability will be required.
